Job description

One of the leading independent estate agencies in Colchester requires an experienced Office Administrator to join the team. The successful candidate will support the Colchester Residential Sales Team and the Head of Accounts by ensuring all administrative duties relating to the marketing and selling of the properties are completed in an orderly and timely fashion.

Daily duties for the Office Administrator include:

  • Provide administrative support as directed by the Head of Accounts.
  • Prepare and send out correspondence as required to clients, customers, and third parties by way of letter/email/text/telephone.
  • Download and send online portal property performance reports to negotiators/clients.
  • Prepare window adverts.
  • Secure signed terms of business via Docusign or in writing.
  • Loading properties to company software
  • Raising and sending invoices as required.
  • Assist the sales team with generating property brochures.
  • Provide onboarding support for new property instructions for sales.
  • Maintaining all office literature and stationery as required.
  • Ensure all filing is carried out in a timely and orderly fashion.
  • Assist with the admin of touting for Superior Homes Brand.
  • Assist the Head of Accounts with office projects.
  • Assist the MD with typing surveys and other reports

The successful Office Administrator requires the following;

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years office admin experience
  • Smart and presentable.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive relationship with clients and colleagues and other third parties.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Experience in the property or conveyancing sector would be beneficial
