Job description

One of the leading letting agents in Southampton is now recruiting an Office Administrator to join the team. The successful candidate will be joining a professional and friendly team that manages over 200 residential properties.

The Role

The role involves assisting in the management of 200 properties located in Southampton and being responsible for assisting in the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.

Daily Duties

  • Greeting office visitors
  • Answering the phone promptly
  • Ensuring emails are responded to quickly
  • Opening & distributing post
  • Arranging property inspections
  • Booking viewing appointments
  • Taking property deposits
  • Filing documents
  • Managing company vehicle insure and MOT's
  • Managing company contracts
  • Creating tenancy agreements
  • Conducting check-in / out appointments
  • Assisting with viewing appointments during busy periods

Key Skills Required

  • A minimum of 2 years office admin experience
  • Previous property experience would be highly beneficial, although not essential
  • Hard-working and organised
  • Ability to keep highly accurate records
  • Good face to face communicator and ability to write professional correspondents
  • Hold a UK driving licence

The Package Includes;

  • Salary of 20,000 - 23,000 PA (DOE)
  • Company laptop & mobile
  • Hours; Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm
