Our client - a long-established SME construction sector business in Bicester- is seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor due to winning several new projects.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor's Role

• Reporting to one of the directors the new Senior Quantity Surveyor will manage a range of commercial aspects including procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and management of subcontract works packages through to the final account.
• You'll be keen to minimise risk & costs and maximise value by cost checking and analysis of labour, plant, and materials.
• Responsibility-wise, the Director is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is competent in delivering projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision. You will also be supported by junior members of the Quantity Surveying team.

Your profile

• You will have a degree in BSc Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or equivalent experience/memberships
• You will have construction industry experience with the main contractor working as a number two on large projects
